All students must complete beginner class and will be moved to this class only with Kumu Kanani's approval.

This class focuses on stronger hula basics, technique, language, and performance and competition skills

Hula 101

Must know hula basic steps.  This class is for those who wish to just dance for fun and exercise.

Wednesday 6:30p-7:30p
     

Gracious Ladies (35+)

Must complete beginning hula class.  Students will be moved to this class only with Kumu Kanani's approval.

This class focuses on stronger hula basics, technique, language, and performance and competition skills

Thursday 6:30p-8:30p
     

Beg Keiki (Child 3+)

(must know right and left)

Will learn basic hula steps, hand gestures, posture, language and basic tahitian

Saturday 9:00-10:00a

Beg Keiki Kane (boys)

must also attend 9a class

more attention to hula basics, learn to blow conch shells, and basic tahitian


Saturday 10:00-10:30a

Interm Keiki

Must complete beginner class and will be moved to this class only with Kumu Kanani's approval.

This class will help strengthen hula basic steps, dance techniques. performance skills, language and posture.


Saturday  10:30-11:30a

Adv Kaikamahine

Must have a clear understanding of hula basics.

Students will be moved to this class upon completing Interm Hula class and only with Kumu Kanani's approval.

This class will focus on stronger hula basics, higher level performance skills, and competition techniques

Saturday 11:30a-12:30p
     

Beg Ukulele

Must have own Ukulele, tuner, music stand, binder

Focus on basic chords and strumming techniques.  Will learn to sing while playing songs.

Saturday 1:00p-2:00p
